Installation (from 07/2011)

DOOR LOCK: BACK DOOR LOCK (for Hatchback): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/ Power Door Lock)

HINT
Make sure to remove the string before installing a new back door lock assembly.

(a) Apply MP grease to the sliding parts of the back door lock assembly.

(b) Install the back door lock assembly with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf)

(c) Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/o Power Door Lock)

(a) Apply MP grease to the sliding parts of the back door lock assembly.

(b) Install the back door lock assembly with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf)

(c) Connect the back door lock control rod.





(d) Connect the back door outside handle cable.

(e) Connect the connector.

3. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD Reassembly (from 07/2011)
