Engine Immobiliser System (for Hatchback)





THEFT DETERRENT / KEYLESS ENTRY: ENGINE IMMOBILISER SYSTEM (for Hatchback): TERMINALS OF ECU

1. CHECK TRANSPONDER KEY AMPLIFIER





(a) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





(b) Check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.





(c) Inspect using an oscilloscope.

2. CHECK TRANSPONDER KEY ECU ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the D139 transponder key ECU assembly connector.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





(c) Reconnect the D139 transponder key ECU connector.

(d) Measure the resistance and voltage, and check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.





(e) Inspect using an oscilloscope.
