DESCRIPTION

The navigation receiver assembly receives a reverse signal from the park/neutral position switch and information about the GPS antenna, and then adjusts the vehicle position on the navigation display.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the E16 navigation receiver assembly connector.





(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH)

OK -- REPLACE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY Removal

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH)

(a) Disconnect the E16 navigation receiver assembly connector.





(b) Disconnect the B2 park/neutral position switch connector.





(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH - BATTERY)

(a) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
