SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEMS: OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

CAUTION:
Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing Service Precautions.

NOTICE:
* When removing front seat assembly RH, perform zero point calibration and sensitivity check Programming and Relearning.
* When replacing the occupant classification ECU, perform zero point calibration and sensitivity check Programming and Relearning.

2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
* Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
* Refer to the procedure up to Remove Front Seat Assembly Removal.

3. REMOVE OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU

(a) Disconnect the 2 connectors.





(b) Using a screwdriver with the tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the occupant classification ECU.
