Disassembly





LIGHTING (EXT): REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY: DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT BODY GASKET

(a) Remove the rear combination light body gasket.





NOTICE:
* Be sure to remove all the traces of the old gasket from the body.
* Do not reuse the removed gasket. Be sure to install a new rear combination light body gasket to prevent water ingress.

2. REMOVE REAR TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB

(a) Turn the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly with the rear turn signal light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and disconnect them as a unit.





(b) Remove the rear turn signal light bulb from the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.

3. REMOVE BACK-UP LIGHT BULB

(a) Turn the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly with the back-up light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and disconnect them as a unit.





(b) Remove the back-up light bulb from the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.

4. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Disengage the 2 clamps.





(b) Disconnect the connector and remove the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.

5. REMOVE REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER

(a) Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the rear bumper upper retainer.





6. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT GASKET

(a) Remove the rear combination light gasket.





NOTICE:
* Be sure to remove all the traces of the old gasket from the body.
* Do not reuse the removed gasket. Be sure to install a new rear combination light gasket to prevent water ingress.

7. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT CLIP

(a) Remove the 2 rear combination light clips.
