Rear View Monitor System (w/o Navigation System)





PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: REAR VIEW MONITOR SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU

1. REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the V6 connector from the rear television camera assembly.

(b) Measure the voltage of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.





* *1: for Navigation Receiver Type or for Radio and Display Type (w/o Daytime Running Light)

* *2: for Radio and Display Type (w/ Daytime Running Light)

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Reconnect the V6 connector to the rear television camera assembly.

(d) Check for pulses between each terminal of the connector.





If the result is not as specified, the rear television camera assembly may have a malfunction.

(e) Reference (Oscilloscope waveform):





(1) Waveform 1 (camera lens is not covered, displaying an image)





HINT
The video waveform changes according to the image sent by the rear television camera assembly.

(2) Waveform 2 (camera lens is covered, blacking out the screen)
