Removal





HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: ROOM TEMPERATURE SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

NOTICE:
After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work Service Precautions.

2. REMOVE LUGGAGE TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER Removal

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM AUXILIARY BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH Removal

5. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Removal

6. DISCONNECT FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH Removal

7. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH Removal

8. REMOVE FRONT PANEL GARNISH LH Removal

9. DISCONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

10. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY Removal

11. REMOVE ROOM TEMPERATURE SENSOR (COOLER THERMISTOR)

(a) Disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.





(b) Disconnect the hose and connector and remove the room temperature sensor (cooler thermistor).
