Removal





HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

NOTICE:
After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work Service Precautions.

2. REMOVE LUGGAGE TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER Removal

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM AUXILIARY BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side Removal.

5. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side Removal.

6. DISCONNECT FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH Removal

7. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH Removal

8. REMOVE FRONT PANEL GARNISH RH Removal

9. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

10. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Removal

11. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

12. REMOVE CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) (w/o ECU Integration Box RH) Removal

13. REMOVE ECU INTEGRATION BOX RH (w/ ECU Integration Box RH) Removal

14. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect each connector.

(b) Remove the 2 screws.





(c) Disengage the 2 guides and remove the air conditioning amplifier assembly.
