Removal

2AR-FXE ENGINE CONTROL: ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. DRAIN COOLANT (for Engine) Coolant (for Engine)

2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

3. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal

4. REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY Removal

5. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

(a) Disconnect the ventilation hose from the cylinder head cover.





(b) Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.





(c) Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the wire harness.

(d) Using a 19 mm ball joint lock nut wrench, remove the engine coolant temperature sensor.
