2AR-FXE ENGINE CONTROL: HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR

(a) Using SST, install the heated oxygen sensor to the front exhaust pipe.

SST : 09224-00010

without SST - Torque : 44 Nm (449 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)

with SST - Torque : 40 Nm (408 kgf-cm, 30 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
* The "with SST" torque value is effective when using SST with a fulcrum length of 30 mm (1.18 in.) and a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 300 mm (11.81 in.) Service Precautions
* The "with SST" torque value is effective when SST is parallel to the torque wrench.

(b) Connect the heated oxygen sensor connector.

2. INSPECT FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAK
