DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are stored when a malfunction occurs in the roof antenna assembly which is connected to the radio and display receiver assembly.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
After replacing the radio and display receiver assembly of vehicles subscribed to pay-type satellite radio broadcasts, XM radio ID registration is necessary.

PROCEDURE

1. REPLACE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Replace the antenna cord sub-assembly Removal.

(b) Clear the DTCs Audio And Visual System (without Intuitive Parking Assist System).

(c) Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

OK:

No DTCs are output.

NG -- INSPECT NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

OK -- END

2. INSPECT NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly.

(b) Measure the resistance of the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly to check for an open circuit in the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly.

Standard Resistance:

Below 1 Ohms

(c) Measure the resistance between the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly and body ground to check for a short circuit in the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly.

Standard Resistance:

10 kOhms or higher

NG -- REPLACE NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY - ROOF ANTENNA ASSEMBLY)

(a) Replace the harness or connector.

(b) Clear the DTCs Audio And Visual System (without Intuitive Parking Assist System).

(c) Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

OK:

No DTCs are output.

NG -- REPLACE ROOF ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

OK -- END

4. REPLACE ROOF ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

(a) Replace the roof antenna assembly Removal.

(b) Clear the DTCs Audio And Visual System (without Intuitive Parking Assist System).

(c) Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

OK:

No DTCs are output.

NG -- REPLACE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY Removal

OK -- END
