Removal





HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: AIR CONDITIONING PANEL (for Manual Air Conditioning System): REMOVAL

1. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LH Removal

2. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL RH Removal

3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH Removal

4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH Removal

5. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER WITH BRACKET (w/o Navigation System) Removal

7. REMOVE NAVIGATION RECEIVER WITH BRACKET (w/ Navigation System) Removal

8. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle) Removal

9. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transaxle) Removal

10. REMOVE CENTER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle) Removal

11. REMOVE CENTER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transaxle) Removal

12. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL BOX ASSEMBLY Removal

13. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL HOLE COVER Removal

14. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING PANEL ASSEMBLY

(a) Disengage the 4 clips and remove the air conditioning panel assembly.





(b) Disconnect each connector.

(c) Disengage the 2 claws and the No. 2 heater control cable sub-assembly.





(d) Disengage the 2 claws and the airmix damper control cable sub-assembly.
