Removal

SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM: SEAT POSITION SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

CAUTION:
Be sure to read "PRECAUTION" thoroughly before servicing Airbag System (for TMC Made) for TMC made, Airbag System (for TMMK Made) for TMMK made).

2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

3. REMOVE SEAT TRACK COVER LH Removal

4. REMOVE INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH Removal

5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH Removal

6. REMOVE SEAT POSITION SENSOR

(a) Disconnect the connector.





NOTICE:
When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

(b) Using a "TORX" socket (T30), remove the "TORX" screw and seat position sensor with the seat slide position sensor protector.

(c) Remove the seat position sensor from the seat slide position sensor protector as shown in the illustration.
