Braking Sensor/Switch: Testing and Inspection

BRAKE CONTROL: BRAKE PEDAL STROKE SENSOR: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT BRAKE PEDAL STROKE SENSOR

(a) Inspect the brake pedal stroke sensor. If any of the following occurs, replace the brake pedal stroke sensor with a new one:

* The surface of the brake pedal stroke sensor is cracked, dented, or chipped off.

* The connector is scratched, cracked, or damaged.

* The brake pedal stroke sensor has been dropped.
