INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY - VIDEO TERMINAL)

(a) Disconnect the television display assembly connector.





(b) Disconnect the video terminal connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. INSPECT VIDEO TERMINAL

(a) Reconnect the video terminal connector.

(b) Using an oscilloscope, check the signal waveform between each terminal and body ground according to the conditions shown in the table below.
