Removal

2ZR-FE INTAKE / EXHAUST: INTAKE MANIFOLD: REMOVAL

1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

2. REMOVE NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER Removal

3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH HOSE Removal

4. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY Removal

5. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD

(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the wire harness bracket.

(b) Disconnect the 3 hoses.

(c) Remove the 4 bolts, 2 nuts, intake manifold stay and intake manifold.





(d) Remove the gasket from the intake manifold.





(e) Remove the bolt and bracket.

(f) Using a "TORX" socket E6, remove the 2 stud bolts from the intake manifold.
