2AZ-FXE EMISSION CONTROL: AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR

(a) Temporarily tighten the air fuel ratio sensor.

(b) Using SST, fully tighten the air fuel ratio sensor.





SST : 09224-00010

without SST - Torque : 44 Nm (449 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)

with SST - Torque : 40 Nm (408 kgf-cm, 30 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
* Do not damage the air fuel ratio sensor.
* Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 300 mm (11.81 in.).

(c) Connect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.





(d) Install the wire harness clamp.

HINT
Do not allow portion A to protrude from portion B.
