U660E AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE: TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Put in the transmission control cable assembly to the body.

(b) Turn over the carpet and install the No. 2 shift cable grommet retainer with the 2 bolts.





Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

(c) Install the transmission control cable assembly as shown in the illustration.





HINT
* Install it with the protrusion facing up.
* Securely engage the claws.
(d) Install the transmission control cable assembly to the control shaft lever with the nut.





Torque : 13 Nm (133 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)

(e) Connect the transmission control cable assembly with a new clip to the No. 1 transmission control cable bracket.
