Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

ENGINE IMMOBILISER: ENGINE IMMOBILISER SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR

DTC CHECK / CLEAR

1. CHECK DTC
(a) Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch ON.
(c) Turn the tester on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Immobiliser or Engine / Trouble Codes.
(e) Check the details of the DTC (s) Engine Immobiliser System.
2. CLEAR DTC
(a) Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch ON.
(c) Turn the tester on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Immobiliser or Engine / Trouble Codes.
(e) Erase the DTCs.
