Removal

2AZ-FE CHARGING: GENERATOR:

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
2. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL RH
3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL RH
4. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
5. REMOVE ENGINE MOVING CONTROL ROD WITH BRACKET (Removal)

6. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE MOUNTING STAY RH
7. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET RH
8. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT (Removal)

9. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the generator connector.
(b) Remove the nut and disconnect the wire harness from terminal B.
(c) Remove the bolt and wire harness clamp bracket.
(d) Remove the wire harness clamps.





(e) Remove the 2 bolts and generator assembly.
