2AZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: THROTTLE BODY:

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY





(a) Install a new gasket on the intake manifold, as shown in the illustration.





(b) Install the throttle body and fuel pipe support with the 4 bolts.
Torque: 30 Nm (305 kgf-cm, 22 ft-lbf)
(c) Connect the vent hose to the throttle body.
(d) Connect the 2 water by-pass hoses to the throttle body.
(e) Connect the throttle control motor & throttle position sensor connector.
(f) Connect the vacuum hose to the throttle body.
2. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE
3. ADD ENGINE COOLANT
HINT: (Service and Repair).

4. CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKS
HINT: (Service and Repair).
