SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for RH Side):

COMPONENTS










REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH (LOWER)
2. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH (LOWER)
3. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH (UPPER)
4. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH (UPPER)
5. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

NOTICE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.





- When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion pad with new hog rings.
(b) Install the seat cushion cover (with pad) to the seat adjuster by using hog ring pliers to attach new hog rings and hooks.
6. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

NOTICE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover to the seatback pad with new hog rings.
(b) Install the seatback cover (with pad) to the seatback frame.
(c) Install the 2 headrest supports.





(d) w/ Side airbag:
Fully cover the airbag with the 2 seatback cover brackets and tighten the nut.
Torque: 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

- For vehicles with side airbags, the seatback cover must be securely installed. Otherwise, the side airbag may not deploy properly.
- Make sure that the strap is not twisted after installing the bracket.
- Install the bracket securely.

(e) Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover with new hog rings.
7. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK LOCK HANDLE ROD
8. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK LOCK LH
(a) Install the front seat hinge cover to the seatback lock.
(b) Install the seatback lock (with front seat hinge cover) with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 43 Nm (440 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)
9. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK LOCK RH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

Torque: 43 Nm (440 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)
10. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK BOARD RH
11. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK
(a) Install the seatback to the seat cushion with the 4 bolts.
Torque: 43 Nm (440 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)
12. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK SHIELD RH
13. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK SHIELD LH
14. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH
15. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH
16. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Connect the connector and engage the clamps.
(b) Engage the wire harness of the inner belt to the cushion shield inner RH.
(c) Install the cushion shield inner RH (with wire harness) with the screw.
(d) Install the belt with the bolt.
Torque: 41 Nm (418 kgf-cm, 30 ft-lbf)
