Door Unlock Detection Switch Circuit
DESCRIPTION
The door unlock detection switch is built into the door lock motor assembly. This switch is ON when the door lock knob is in the unlock position and OFF when the knob is in the lock position. The ECU detects the door lock knob conditions in this circuit.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK DOOR LOCK OPERATION
(a) Check door lock operation (Component Tests and General Diagnostics).
NG -- REPLACE DOOR LOCK
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TVIP ECU - DOOR LOCK)
(a) Disconnect the TVIP ECU and door lock connectors.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DOOR LOCK - BODY GROUND)
(a) Disconnect the door lock connectors.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
