DESCRIPTION

The door courtesy switch turns ON when the door is opened and OFF when the door is closed.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance :
(front LH / front RH / rear LH / rear RH)

(glass hatch / back door)

NG -- REPLACE DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INTEGRATION RELAY - DOOR COURTESY SWITCH)

(a) Disconnect the integration relay and door courtesy connectors.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:

(c) Disconnect the integration relay and door courtesy connectors.
(d) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

(a) Disconnect the integration relay and door courtesy connectors.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE TVIP ECU
