REMOVAL
1. REMOVE REAR DOOR WEATHERSTRIP RH
2. REMOVE REAR DOOR WEATHERSTRIP LH
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
4. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY (FIXED TYPE REAR SEAT)
5. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY (SEPARATED TYPE REAR SEAT)
6. REMOVE ROOM PARTITION BOARD RH (SEPARATED TYPE REAR SEAT)
7. REMOVE ROOM PARTITION BOARD LH (SEPARATED TYPE REAR SEAT)
8. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER RH
9. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER LH
10. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY
11. REMOVE BACK WINDOW MOULDING OUTSIDE UPPER
(a) Using a knife, cut off the moulding as shown in the illustration.
NOTE: Do not damage the vehicle body with the knife.
(b) Remove the remaining moulding.
HINT: Make a partial cut in the moulding, then pull and remove it by hand.
12. REMOVE BACK WINDOW GLASS
HINT: Depending on a vehicle type, either a 1-piece type or a 2-piece type of stopper is installed.
(a) From the interior insert a piano wire between the vehicle body and glass.
(b) Apply protective tape to the outer surface to keep the surface from being scratched.
(c) Tie both wire ends to wooden blocks or similar objects.
NOTE: When separating the glass, take care not to damage the paint and interior/exterior ornaments.
(d) Cut the adhesive by pulling the piano wire around the glass.
(e) Using a suction cup, remove the glass.
NOTE: Leave as much adhesive on the body as possible when removing the glass.
13. CLEAN BACK WINDOW GLASS
(a) Using a scraper, remove the damaged stoppers, dam and adhesive sticking to the glass.
(b) Clean the outer edges of the glass with white gasoline.
NOTICE:
- Do not touch the glass after cleaning it.
- Be careful not to damage the body.
