Installation








BRAKE: FRONT BRAKE:

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY






(a) Install the disc brake cylinder assembly with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 34 Nm (350 kgf-cm, 25 ft-lbf)






(b) Check the installation of the anti-squeal springs.
(1) Visually check for any clearance between the brake pad and front disc brake pad support plates as shown in the illustration.
NOTICE:
- If the anti-squeal springs are installed correctly, there will be no clearance between the brake pad and the front disc brake pad support plates. If there is a clearance, the anti-squeal springs may not be installed properly.
- Check all 4 contact surfaces between the brake pad and the front disc brake pad support plates.





(c) Connect the front flexible hose with the union bolt and a new gasket.
NOTE: Install the flexible hose lock securely in the lock hole in the disc brake cylinder.

Torque: 29 Nm (300 kgf-cm, 21 ft-lbf)
2. ADD BRAKE FLUID TO RESERVOIR Bleeding

3. DISABLE BRAKE CONTROL Bleeding

4. BLEED FRONT BRAKE SYSTEM Bleeding

5. CANCEL BRAKE CONTROL DISABLE Bleeding

6. CLEAR DTC FOR BRAKE CONTROL SYSTEM
HINT: Refer the procedures up to "ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM". Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

7. PERFORM ACCUMULATOR PRESSURE ZERO DOWN Bleeding

8. INSPECT FOR BRAKE FLUID LEAK
9. CHECK BRAKE FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR Bleeding

10. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL
Torque: 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf)
