SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM: SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL
HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. PRECAUTION
CAUTION: Be sure to read the "PRECAUTION" thoroughly before servicing
Service Precautions.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag working.

3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH Removal

4. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH Removal

5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH
6. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH
7. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LOWER LH Removal

8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH Removal

9. REMOVE SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR LH






(a) Disconnect the connector from the side airbag sensor LH.
(b) Remove the nut and the side airbag sensor LH.
