Slip Indicator Light Remains ON

DESCRIPTION

The SLIP indicator blinks during VSC and/or TRAC operation.
When the system fails, the SLIP indicator comes on to warn the driver.
The SLIP indicator comes on when traction control is terminated by pressing the traction control switch.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE: When replacing the ABS & TRACTION actuator assembly, perform zero point calibration
Programming and Relearning.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC
(a) Check if the ABS and/or VSC DTC is output.
Result:






B -- REPAIR CIRCUIT INDICATED BY OUTPUT CODE
A -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
(a) Check if the CAN communication system DTC is output .
Result:






B -- REPAIR CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A -- Continue to next step.
3. INSPECT MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
(a) Check if the multiplex communication system DTC is output .
Result:






B -- REPAIR MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A -- Continue to next step.
4. INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
(a) Check the combination meter assembly How To Proceed With Troubleshooting.
HINT: If troubleshooting has been carried out according to the PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE, refer back to the table and proceed to the next step before replacing the part

NG -- REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
OK -- REPLACE ABS & TRACTION ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY
