DTC C2176/76 - Receiver Error

DESCRIPTION

When the tire pressure warning ECU is detected to internal data error, DTC C2176/76 is stored.






INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
- When replacing the tire pressure warning ECU, read the transmitter IDs stored in the old ECU using the Techstream and note them down before removal.
- It is necessary to perform the initialization after the registration of the transmitter IDs into the tire pressure warning ECU if the ECU and/or one of the valve and transmitters have been replaced.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (C2176/76)
(a) Clear the DTC .
(b) Turn the ignition switch off.
(c) Turn the ignition switch on (IG) and check for DTCs .
OK:
DTC C2176/76 is not output.
NG -- REPLACE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU
OK -- END
