Removal and Replacement

GENERATOR

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL
2. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
3. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT




4. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the terminal cap No. 2.
b. Remove the nut [B], then remove the generator wire.
c. Disconnect the generator connector [C].
d. Remove the wire harness clamp [D].
e. Disconnect the A/C connector [E].




f. Remove the 2 bolts, then remove the generator.

INSTALLATION




1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
a. Install the generator with the 2 bolts.

Torque: Bolt A: 25 N.m (250 kgf.cm, 18 ft.lbf)
Bolt B: 54 N.m (550 kgf.cm, 40 ft.lbf)




b. Connect the A/C connector [B].
c. Install the wire harness clamp [C].
d. Connect the generator connector [D].
e. Install the generator wire with the nut [E].

Torque: 9.8 N.m (100 kgf.cm, 7 ft.lbf)

f. Install the terminal cap No. 2.

2. INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT
3. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER RH

4. CONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL

Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf.cm, 48 in.lbf)
