Removal and Replacement

Condenser:




CONDENSER

REMOVAL

1. DISCHARGE REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
2. DISCONNECT AIR CONDITIONING TUBE ASSEMBLY




a. Remove the bolt and disconnect the air conditioning tube assembly from the with receiver condenser assembly.
b. Remove the O-ring from the air conditioning tube assembly.

NOTE: Seal the opening of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering.

3. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY




a. Remove the bolt and discharge hose sub-assembly from the with receiver condenser assembly.
b. Remove the O-ring from the discharge hose subassembly.

NOTE: Seal the opening of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering.

4. REMOVE WITH RECEIVER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY




a. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 radiator upper supports.




b. Remove the 2 bolts.
c. Slide the upper part of the radiator assembly rearward to remove the with receiver condenser assembly.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL WITH RECEIVER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY




a. Install the with receiver condenser assembly with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 9.8 N.m (100 kgf.cm, 87 in.lbf)




b. Install the 2 radiator upper supports with the 2 bolts.

2. INSTALL DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the attached vinyl tape from the hose and connecting part of the with receive condenser assembly.
b. Sufficiently apply compressor oil to the new O-ring and hose joint.

Compressor oil: ND-OIL 8 or equivalent

c. Install an O-ring to the discharge hose subassembly.




d. Install the discharge hose sub-assembly to the with receive condenser assembly with the bolt.

Torque: 5.4 N.m (54 kgf.cm, 48 in.lbf)

3. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING TUBE ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the attached vinyl tape from the pipe and connecting part of the with receive condenser assembly.
b. Sufficiently apply compressor oil to the new O-ring and pipe joint.

Compressor oil: ND-OIL 8 or equivalent

c. Install an O-ring to the air conditioning tube assembly.




d. Install the air conditioning tube assembly to the with receive condenser assembly with the bolt.

Torque: 5.4 N.m (54 kgf.cm, 48 in.lbf)

4. CHARGE REFRIGERANT
5. WARM UP ENGINE
6. INSPECT LEAKAGE OF REFRIGERANT
