Applicability
Introduction
Some 2007 - 2008 model year Camry vehicles with 2AZ-FE engines may exhibit a M.I.L. "ON" condition with one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs):
^ P2195 - Oxygen (A/F) Sensor Signal Stuck Lean (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
^ P0138 - Oxygen Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
^ P0171 - System Too Lean (Bank 1)
^ P0031 - Oxygen (A/F) Sensor Heater Control Low (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
Use the following repair procedure to diagnose and repair customer complaint vehicles.
Warranty Information
APPLICABLE WARRANTY
^ This repair is covered under the Toyota Federal Emission Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date. For California specification vehicles sold, registered, and operated in California, Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island, this repair is covered under the California Emission Warranty, which is 36 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
^ Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.
Production Change Information
This TSB applies to vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown below.

Repair Procedure
1. Using TIS techstream check for any stored DTCs.
2. If DTCs P2195 P0138 P0171 or P0031 are present replace the A/F sensors. Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS) applicable model and model year Repair Manual:
^ 2007 Camry:
Engine/Hybrid System Emission Control "2AZ-FE Emission Control: Air Fuel Ratio Sensor: Removal and Installation"
^ 2008 Camry:
Engine/Hybrid System Emission Control "2AZ-FE Emission Control: Air Fuel Ratio Sensor: Removal and Installation"
3. After the repair is complete clear any stored DTCs and test drive the vehicle to confirm the repair.
