INTRODUCTION:

Some customers may notice static noise from AM or FM radio bands when the rear window defroster is on. Use following repair procedure and the revised rear window glass to improve this condition.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

1. Remove the rear window glass.

Refer to the Repair Manual within E-TAS / TIS library:
- Model: Camry
- Year: 2007 or 2008
- Service Category: Vehicle Exterior
- Section: Window/Glass
- Keyword: Back Window Glass: Removal

2. Install the NEW rear window glass.

Refer to the Repair Manual within E-TAS / TIS library:
- Model: Camry
- Year: 2007 or 2008
- Service Category: Vehicle Exterior
- Section: Window/Glass
- Keyword: Back Window Glass: Installation

3. Confirm that static noise is not present when the rear defroster is on.
