1. INSPECT STOP LIGHT SWITCH
(a) Check the protrusion of the rod.
Protrusion of the rod: 1.5 to 2.5 mm (0.059 to 0.098 inch)
If the protrusion is not within the specified range, adjust it.

CAUTION: Do not depress the brake pedal.
