Applicability

TSB SUPERSESSION NOTICE
The information contained in this TSB supersedes TSB No. EL00807.

^ Applicability has been updated to include 2007 model year Camry HV vehicles.

TSB No. EL00807 is Obsolete and any printed versions should be discarded. Be sure to review the entire content of this service bulletin before proceeding.

Introduction
Some customers may experience the Daytime Running Lights (DRL) staying on after the ignition is turned off. A new engine room Junction Block assembly is now available to address this condition. Use the following procedure to replace the Junction Block assembly.

Production Change Information





This TSB applies to vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs as shown.





Warranty Information

APPLICABLE WARRANTY

^ This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.

^ Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.





Parts Information

Repair Procedure

1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.





2. Remove the engine room Junction Block cover.





3. Remove the Junction Block mounting bolt.





4. Remove the Junction Block assembly from the Junction Block housing.

HINT
Depress both clips simultaneously while lifting up on the Junction Block





5. Remove the Junction Block and disconnect the 4 connectors.

6. Install the NEW Junction Block.

Installation is the reverse order of removal.

7. Reconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

8. Verify normal operation of the Daytime Running Lights.
