Introduction

Some customers may complain that the right side interior A-pillar garnish is loose or out of position. This condition is caused by an incomplete installation of the A-pillar garnish at the factory. Follow the repair procedure in this bulletin to correct this condition.

^ 2007 model year NAP-built Camry vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown below.

Warranty Information

Applicable Warranty*:
This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.

* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.

Repair Procedure

1. Remove the front pillar garnish RH.

A. Pull the upper part of the garnish toward the inside of the cabin and disengage the two (2) clips.





B. Cut off the upper clip as shown in the illustration.

C. Disengage the two (2) claws and remove the front pillar garnish RH.

D. Remove the clip from the vehicle body.





2. Confirm the A-pillar roof panel wires are secured away from the A-pillar garnish upper clip hole.




3. Install a NEW upper clip on the front pillar garnish RH as shown in the illustration.

4. Engage the two (2) claws and two (2) clips.

5. Install the front pillar garnish RH.
