REPLACEMENTHINT: COMPONENTS: See Suspension; Diagrams; Exploded Views.
1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL
2. DISCONNECT PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY NO.3
a. Remove the 2 bolts, disconnect the parking brake cable assembly No.3.
3. DISCONNECT PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY NO.2 HINT:
Disconnect the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.
4. SEPARATE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH
5. SEPARATE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH
HINT: Separate the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.
6. REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY NO.1 LH
a. Remove the frontal bolt and nut.
b. Support the upper control arm assembly securely.
c. Make matchmarks on the rear suspension toe adjust plate No.2, rear suspension toe adjust cam sub-assembly and rear suspension arm assembly No.1 LH.
d. Remove the nut rear suspension toe adjust plate No.2 and rear suspension toe adjust cam sub-assembly.
e. Remove the bolt and nut, disconnect the rear shock absorber with coil spring.
NOTICE: When removing the bolt, stop the nut from rotating and loosen the bolt.
f. Remove the bolt and nut, separate the rear side rear suspension arm assembly No.1 LH.
NOTICE: When removing the bolt, stop the nut from rotating and loosen the bolt.
g. Remove the front side 3 bolts and rear lower suspension arm assembly No.1 LH.
h. Remove the nut, rear suspension arm bracket assembly LH and rear suspension support stopper.
7. REMOVE LOWER CONTROL ARM BUSH
a. Using SST, remove the lower control arm bush.

8. INSTALL LOWER CONTROL ARM BUSH
a. Using SST, install a new lower control arm bush.

NOTICE:
^ Do not install the lower control arm bush with it facing in the wrong direction.
^ Place the lower control arm bush at the position in the illustration.
9. INSTALL REAR SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY NO.1 LH
a. Install the rear suspension support stopper and rear suspension arm bracket assembly LH, temporarily tighten a new nut.
b. Install the rear side rear suspension arm assembly No.1 LH, temporarily tighten bolt and nut.
NOTICE: When installing the bolt, stop the nut from rotating and tighten the bolt.
c. Install the 3 bolts.
Torque: 65 Nm (663 kgf-cm, 48 ft. lbs.)
d. Install the axle carrier to the rear suspension arm assembly No.1 LH, temporarily tighten a new bolt and nut.
e. Insert the rear suspension toe adjust cam sub-assembly into the front side of the vehicle, temporarily tighten with nut through the rear suspension toe adjust plate No.2.
f. Install the rear shock absorber with coil spring to the rear suspension arm assembly No.1 LH, temporarily tighten the bolt and nut.
10. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH
11. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH HINT:
Install the RH side by the same Procedures as the LH side.
12. CONNECT PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY NO.3
a. Connect the parking brake cable assembly No.3 with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 inch lbs.)
13. CONNECT PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY NO.2
HINT: Connect the RH side by the same procedures as the LH side.
14. STABILIZE SUSPENSION
15. FULLY TIGHTEN REAR SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY NO.1 LH
a. Fully tighten the nut.
Torque: 110 Nm (1,122 kgf-cm, 81 ft. lbs.)
b. Fully tighten the bolt.
Torque: 74 Nm (755 kgf-cm, 55 ft. lbs.)
NOTICE: When installing the bolt, stop the nut from rotating and tighten the bolt.
c. Fully tighten the bolt and nut.
Torque: 140 Nm (1,428 kgf-cm, 103 ft. lbs.)
NOTICE: When installing the bolt, stop the nut from rotating and tighten the bolt.
d. Align the matchmarks on the rear suspension toe adjust plate No.2 and fully tighten the nut.
Torque: 74 Nm (755 kgf-cm, 55 ft. lbs.)
e. Fully tighten the front side bolt and nut.
Torque: 74 Nm (755 kgf-cm, 55 ft. lbs.)
16. INSPECT AND ADJUST REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT
