Radiator: Service and Repair

REPLACEMENT
1. DRAIN COOLANT
2. REMOVE AIR PUMP OUTLET PIPE





a) Disconnect the air hose No. 6.
b) Disconnect the air hose No. 5.
c) Remove the 2 bolts and air pump outlet pipe.
3. DISCONNECT RADIATOR HOSE INLET
4. DISCONNECT RADIATOR HOSE OUTLET
5. REMOVE RADIATOR W/FAN





a) Disconnect the fan motor connector.
b) Disconnect the 2 clamps for the wire harness from the fan shroud.





c) Remove the 2 bolts and 2 radiator support uppers.
d) Remove the radiator with fan.





e) Remove the 2 radiator support lowers.
6. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY





a) Disconnect the radiator reserve tank hose.
b) Remove the 2 bolts and fan shroud.
7. INSTALL RADIATOR ASSEMBLY
a) Install the fan shroud with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 6.0 Nm (61 kgf-cm, 53 inch lbs.)
b) Connect the radiator reserve tank hose.
8. INSTALL RADIATOR W/FAN
Torque: 19 Nm (194 kgf-cm, 14 ft. lbs.)
9. INSTALL AIR PUMP OUTLET PIPE
Torque: 7.0 Nm (71 kgf-cm, 62 inch lbs.)
10. ADD COOLANT
11. CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKAGE
