INSPECTION1. HEADLAMP DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
a. Inspect light control switch.
1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.
b. Inspect headlamp dimmer switch.
1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.
c. Inspect turn signal switch.
1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.
d. Inspect front fog light switch.
1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.
2. HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY
a. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.
b. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 8 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 9, then check that the illumination comes on.
OK: Illumination comes on.
3. FRONT DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH ASSEMBLY
a. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.
4. LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY
a. Check the courtesy lamp switch.
1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.
5. HEADLAMP RELAY
a. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.
6. TAIL LAMP RELAY
a. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.
7. FOG LAMP RELAY
a. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.
8. DRL NO.2 RELAY
a. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.
9. DRL NO.3 RELAY
a. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.
10. DRL NO.4 RELAY
a. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.
11. TRANSPONDER KEY AMPLIFIER
a. Inspect ignition key cylinder light operation.
1. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 6, then check that the illumination comes on.
OK: Illumination comes on.
12. ROOM LAMP ASSEMBLY NO.1
a. Coupe:
1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.
2. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2, then check that the lamp comes on when the switch is in the DOOR position.
OK: Lamp comes on.
3. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 3, then check that the lamp comes on when the switch is in the ON position.
OK: Lamp comes on.
b. Convertible:
1. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to one of the terminal and the negative (-) lead to other terminal, then check that the lamp comes on.
OK: Lamp comes on.
13. MAP LAMP ASSEMBLY
a. Coupe:
1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.
2. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 5, then check that the lamp comes on when the switch is in the ON position.
OK: Lamp comes on.
b. Convertible:
1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.
2. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and negative (-) lead to terminal 2, then check that the lamp comes on when the switch is in the ON position.
OK: Lamp comes on.
3. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and negative (-) lead to terminal 3, then check that the lamp comes on when the switch is in the DOOR position.
OK: Lamp comes on.
14. ROOF CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY
a. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to one of the terminal and the negative (-) lead to other terminal, then check that the lamp comes on when the switch is in the ON position.
OK: Lamp comes on.
15. LH VISOR ASSEMBLY
a. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to one of the terminal and the negative (-) lead to other terminal, then check that the illumination comes on when the switch is in the ON position.
OK: Lamp comes on.
16. RH VISOR ASSEMBLY
a. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to one of the terminal and the negative (-) lead to other terminal, then check that the lamp comes on when the switch is in the ON position.
OK: Lamp comes on.
17. GLOVE BOX LAMP ASSEMBLY
a. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to one of the terminal and the negative (-) lead to other terminal, then check that the lamp comes on when the switch is in the ON position.
OK: Lamp comes on.
18. LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LAMP ASSEMBLY NO.1
a. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to one of the terminal and the negative (-) lead to other terminal, then check that the lamp comes on when the switch is in the ON position.
OK: Lamp comes on.
19. FRONT DOOR W/MOTOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH
a. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.
20. FRONT DOOR W/MOTOR LOCK ASSEMBLY RH
a. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.
21. STOP LAMP SWITCH ASSEMBLY
a. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.
