DTC 53 Short in P Squib Circuit

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

DTC Detecting Condition:

The P squib circuit consists of the airbag sensor assembly and the front passenger airbag assembly. The circuit instructs the SRS to deploy when the relevant conditions are met.

DTC 53 is recorded when a short circuit is detected in the P squib circuit.
