Evaporative Vapor Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair
REPLACEMENT1. REMOVE FUEL TANK
2. REMOVE VAPOR PRESSURE SENSOR
a. Disconnect the vapor pressure sensor connector.
b. Remove the joint clip and pull out the vapor pressure sensor.
NOTE:
- Be careful to protect the connecting part from scratches and foreign matter.
- Perform Installation or removal by hand without using tools.
3. INSTALL VAPOR PRESSURE SENSOR
a. Install the vapor pressure sensor with the joint clip.
b. Connect the vapor pressure sensor connector.
NOTE:
- Check that the connecting part does not have any scratches or foreign matter.
- Make sure that the vapor pressure sensor is fully inserted.
- Check that the joint clip is set on a rim of the vapor pressure sensor.
- After installing the joint clip, check that the vapor pressure sensor cannot be pulled out.
4. REINSTALL FUEL TANK
