Removal and Installation

Starter Motor / 7A-FE:

STARTER REMOVAL / 7A-FE







1. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP


2. DISCONNECT ENGINE WIRE CLAMP FROM TRANSAXLE
Remove the bolt. and disconnect the wire clamp from the transaxle.







3. REMOVE STARTER
a. Disconnect the starter connector.
b. Remove the nut, and disconnect the starter cable.

Torque: 8.8 N.m (90 kgf.cm, 78 in.lbf)

c. Remove the 2 bolts and starter.

Torque: 37 N.m (380 kgf.cm, 28 ft.lbf)

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
