Rear Speed Sensor Components:

REAR SPEED SENSOR

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the Speed Sensor connector.
(a) Remove the seat cushion and seat back.

Disconnecting Speed Sensor Connector And Wire Harness W/Grommet:

(b) Disconnect the Speed Sensor connector, and pull out the sensor wire harness with the grommet.
(c) Remove the 2 clamp bolts holding the sensor wire harness to the body and Shock Absorber.
Torque: 5.4 Nm (48 inch lbs.)
2. Remove Speed Sensor.

Removing Speed Sensor From Axle Carrier:

Remove the Speed Sensor from the Axle Carrier.
Torque: 7.8 Nm (69 inch lbs.)
3. If necessary, remove Rear Axle Hub.
Torque: 80 Nm (59 ft. lbs.)

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE: After installation, check Speed Sensor signal.
