Overdrive Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. Inspect O/D main switch, as follows:
a. Remove the center console box.





b. Using an ohmmeter, check that the continuity of the terminals 2 and 4 for each switch position.
Switch Position: On
- Tester Connection: 2-4
- Specified Condition: No Continuity
Switch Position: Off
- Tester Connection: 2-4
- Specified Condition: Continuity
If the continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
c. Install the center console box.
