System Outline
Current always flows to TERMINAL A-8 of the theft deterrent and door lock control ECU through the POWER fuse, and to TERMINAL A-20 through the DOME fuse.1. MANUAL LOCK OPERATION
When the door lock control SW or door key lock and unlock SW are pushed to LOCK position, a lock signal is input to TERMINAL A-17or A-14 of the theft deterrent and door lock control ECU and causes the ECU to function. Current flows from TERMINAL A-8 of the ECU --> TERMINAL A-4 --> TERMINALS 7 (Front doors), TERMINALS 4 (Rear doors) of the door lock motors --> TERMINALS 5 (Front doors), TERMINALS 2 (Rear doors) --> TERMINAL A-3 of the ECU --> TERMINAL A-16 --> to GROUNDand the door lock motor causes the door lock to lock.
2. MANUAL UNLOCK OPERATION
When the door lock control SW or door key lock and unlock SW are pushed to UNLOCK position, an unlock signal is input to TERMINAL A-18 or A-15 of the odor lock control ECU and causes to function. Current flows from TERMINAL A-8 of the ECU --> TERMINAL A-3 --> TERMINALS 5 (Front doors), TERMINALS 2 (Rear doors) of the door lock motors --> TERMINALS 7 (Front doors), TERMINALS 4(Rear doors) --> TERMINAL A-4 of the ECU --> TERMINAL A-16 --> to GROUND and the door lock motor causes the door to unlock.
3. DOUBLE OPERATION UNLOCK OPERATION
When the door key lock and unlock SW is turned to the unlock side, only the driver's odor is mechanically unlocked. Turning the door key lock and unlock SW to the unlock side causes a signal to be input TERMINAL A-10 of the door lock control ECU, and if the signal is input again within 3 seconds by turning the SW to the UNLOCK side again, current flows from TERMINAL A-8 of the ECU --> TERMINAL A-3 --> TERMINALS 5(Front doors), TERMINALS 2(Rear doors) of the door lock motors --> TERMINALS 7 (Front doors), TERMINALS 4 (Rear doors) --> TERMINAL A-4 of the ECU --> TERMINAL A-16 --> to GROUND, causing the door lock motor to operate and unlock the passenger's, rear LH, RH.
