ON-VEHICLE INJECTOR INSPECTION
1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER.

- Using a 5 mm hexagon wrench, remove the 2 cap nuts.
- Disconnect the 2 clips, and remove the V-bank cover.

2. INSPECT INJECTOR OPERATION.
- Check operation sound from each injector.

- With the engine running or cranking, use a sound scope to check that there is normal operating noise in proportion to engine speed.
- If you have no sound scope, you can check the injector operating vibration with your finger.
- If no sound or unusual sound is heard, check the wiring connector, injector or injection signal from the ECM.

3. INSPECT INJECTOR RESISTANCE.
- Disconnect the injector connector.

- Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

Resistance @ 20°C (68°F): Approx. 13.8 Ohms

- If the resistance is not as specified, replace the injector.
- Reconnect the injector connector.

4. REINSTALL V-BANK COVER.
- HINT: When installing the V-bank cover, push on the cover until a "click" is felt.

NOTE: For injector circuit information refer to DTC P0300 - DTC P0306 under the Trouble Code Charts.
