Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Testing and Inspection

INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE (IAT) SENSOR INSPECTION
1. REMOVE IAT SENSOR.
2. INSPECT IAT SENSOR.
- Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Resistance Chart:

- If the resistance is not as specified, replace the IAT sensor.
3. REINSTALL IAT SENSOR.
