MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LAMP (MIL) CHECK

Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) Location:

- The MIL should come ON when the ignition is swiched ON and the engine is not running.
- If the MIL does not come on when the ignition is swiched ON and the engine is not running, inspect the MIL circuit.
- When the engine is started, the MIL should go OFF.
- If the light remains ON, the diagnosis system has detected a malfunction or abnormality in the system.
