EGR Temperature Sensor: Testing and Inspection

EGR GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR INSPECTION



1. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY.
2. REMOVE EGR GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR.
3. INSPECT SENSOR.
- Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the sensor terminals.

Resistance:
At 50°C (122°F): 64 - 97 kOhms
At 100°C (212°F): 11 - 16 kOhms
At 150°C (302°F): 2 - 4 kOhms
