Removal/Installation

1. On models with airbag, disable airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.
2. On models less airbag, disconnect battery ground cable.
3. On all models, remove steering wheel as described under STEERING SUSPENSION CHASSIS AND BODY COMPONENTS/COMPONENT REPLACEMENT AND REPAIR PROCEDURES/STEERING WHEEL.
4. Remove steering column upper and lower covers.
5. Disconnect combination switch connectors, remove combination switch.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Arm airbag system as previously described.
